Early, middle and late Savoy cabbage varieties

The main difference between the individual varieties is when the savoy cabbage is sown and harvested. Early Savoy cabbage varieties can be brought forward from February and planted outdoors from April. Late varieties, on the other hand, are sown in summer and can be harvested well into winter. Depending on the harvest time, summer, autumn or winter savoy is also spoken of. The cultivation time also differs a little depending on the variety: early varieties need about 13 to 26 weeks for their development, late varieties, on the other hand, significantly longer at 26 to 40 weeks.
