Only a few carnivorous plants are hardy, such as the sundew. Species such as Venus flytrap and pitcher plant do not tolerate sub-zero temperatures. They must be overwintered indoors.

Carnivores overwinter indoors
How to properly overwinter carnivorous plants depends on the species. Most varieties like to be very bright in winter, but do not tolerate such high temperatures.
Ambient temperatures for such species should be between 10 and 15 degrees. Do not place the pots directly above radiators, as the humidity is too low here.
There is less watering in winter. Make sure, however, that the root balls never dry out completely.
Cultivate pitcher plants
Nepenthes or pitcher plants are an exception because they can be in the same spot all year round. But they also tolerate it when the temperatures are a bit lower in winter.
tips
If you bring your carnivorous plants out of winter quarters in the spring, slowly acclimate them to the warmer temperatures. Even frequent changes of location get the fewest varieties.
