The unconventional flowering time in the evening hour does not mean that the miracle flower wants an unusual location. Here you can find out under which general conditions the summer perennial bloomer is magnificently staged.

The magic flower loves the sun

At this location, the miracle flower fulfills all expectations

In order to bring out the colorful sea of flowers at the end of the day, the miracle flower wants to absorb as many rays of sunshine as it can get hold of. In addition, the young shoots are a little fragile, so a strong gust of wind can damage the plant. Therefore, plant a Mirabilis jalapa in these locations:

  • Sunny, warm location
  • Protected against wind and rain
  • Normal, humus rich, loose and well-drained soil

Since a miracle flower develops a space-consuming habit, it should be given as much freedom as possible at the location. So please place the tubers in the ground at a distance of 70 to 80 cm. A bucket should have a volume of at least 10 liters.
