- Healthy growth through a good location
- Do not stimulate the growth of the Venus flytrap by fertilizing
Although the Venus Flytrap does not grow very tall overall, it does show rapid growth - provided it is cared for properly. Up to four new traps can arise per month. A good location, sufficient moisture and a warm place are important for healthy growth.

Healthy growth through a good location
The growth of the Venus flytrap is favored by the location:
- Bright, preferably sunny location
- Substrate always moist
- high humidity
- consistent warmth
- reduce heat and humidity in winter
Do not stimulate the growth of the Venus flytrap by fertilizing
Like all carnivorous plants, the Venus flytrap can get by with few nutrients. You should therefore not fertilize them and also not feed them with insects.
If the supply of nutrients is too high, growth suffers visibly. The valves remain small and they die off much earlier.
tips
If the Venus flytrap has digested an insect in one of its snap traps, the trap can increase in size by up to 10 percent.
