The Venus flytrap should only be watered with rainwater
Pour the Venus flytrap using the accumulation method
It is best to pour your Venus flytrap over a coaster. The saucer is filled with water to a height of one to two centimeters and the pot is placed in it.
If the moisture has been absorbed, wait two days and then add more liquid to the coaster.
Never water with tap water
The Venus flytrap does not tolerate calcareous tap water. Only use rainwater for watering.
If rainwater is not available, you can also use still mineral water. Distilled water, on the other hand, should only be given in exceptional cases. It no longer contains minerals that the plant needs for healthy growth.
