The meadowsweet feels particularly at home on wet meadows, in ditches or on the banks of streams. It likes partially shaded to sunny places with slightly moist, loamy soil that does not become waterlogged. Place the plant on the balcony, then avoid full sun and use a sufficiently large pot.
