If the temperatures drop below 10 °C, the Cyprus grass is already trembling and fears for its survival. If you still want to see it next year and don't want to buy it again, you should put it away for the winter and do it properly!

The perfect place to overwinter
Before it goes into the winter quarters, you should cut back your Cyprus grass a little. When choosing the winter quarters, the following points should be considered:
- bright
- moderately warm 15 to 18 °C
- not below 10 °C
- preferably in the bathroom or bedroom
- not in the living room or in heated rooms
During the winter, the care of the Cyprus grass should not be neglected. This includes these points:
- Spray regularly with lime-free water
- check for pest infestation (thrips, red spider, mealybugs).
- Keep substrate moist
- do not fertilize
