The hussar's button, often also called hussar's head, is a richly flowering, non-toxic ornamental plant that is often grown in tubs, balcony boxes and hanging baskets. A good location is required so that the plant develops many flowers.

The right place for the hussar's head
- full sun
- partially shaded at best, but bright
- warm location
- no rain or wind protection required
The annual hussar button is a very flowering plant for the rock garden. Most of the time, however, it is cultivated in tubs or pots on the balcony.
The warmer and sunnier the location, the more abundant and longer the flowering will be. In a favorable place it can last from June until the first frost.
The Husarenköpfchen is not hardy and is grown once a year. Hibernation is not possible.
tips
Plant hussar buttons as close as possible to the edge of the planter. Then the long tendrils can hang down decoratively on the sides.
