The memorial flowers in spring and is very reminiscent of the forget-me-not, to which it is actually related. Nevertheless, the distinction is quite easy, because the center of the flower of the memorial is white, that of the forget-me-not is yellow.

Neither species are poisonous. So you can safely plant the memorial in your garden, even if small children are playing there. This plant feels particularly at home under sparse trees. There it spreads quickly thanks to its runners and delights the viewer with pretty flowers in April and May.
The memorial comes into its own in larger groups. Breeds exist in different color combinations, in which the colors white and blue are in the foreground. The memorial is quite undemanding and easy to maintain.
