Proudly upright enthroned flower candles are what set the joint flower apart from other perennials. The right location is crucial so that the adhering individual flowers develop in abundance.
The sunnier the betterIt can be almost any location
The more light the joint flower receives, the more willing it is to bloom. You should therefore offer it a sunny to partially shaded location. If necessary, it also grows in the shade. There, however, it is a little lazier. Suitable locations can be found, for example:
- in beds
- in discounts
- at water edges such as garden ponds
- in the background (height of growth up to 120 cm)
Attention: often uninvited urge to spread
What many perennial friends do not know before planting: the joint flower likes to spread through its seeds without being asked. If you don't want that, you should quickly cut off the withered flowers or plant the joint flower right away where it can spread.

The joint flower looks fantastic next to asters, speedwell, sage, yarrow, lavender, fountain grass and other ornamental grasses!
