Procedures for wintering outdoors
If your dwarf palm is in a bucket and should stay outside in winter, choose a place where it is protected from rain and wind. Wrap the planter with bubble wrap or fleece. Place the container on wood or styrofoam so that the root ball cannot freeze through from below.
Overwinter in the house
Dwarf palms can also be overwintered indoors:
- e.g. B. in the conservatory, living room, hallway
- the warmer, the brighter the location must be
- do not fertilize
- water sparingly
- put outside again from April/May (if desired)
