The beautiful moon winds can't stand the cold at all

Measures for wintering the lunar winds

You should carry out the following work steps for species-appropriate overwintering:

pruning

Cut back the moonglow to a height of 20 cm before it goes into winter quarters.

site selection

Overwinter the moonshine in a cool location. Temperatures between 10°C and 15°C are ideal. In these still relatively mild temperature conditions, the plant even keeps its foliage. As long as the temperatures do not drop below 0°C, colder hibernation is also possible. In this case, the lunar winds shed their leaves completely.

tips

In a bright place, the ornamental plant will sprout again in January.

pouring behaviour

Although you should also water the substrate in winter, limit the water to an amount that does not allow the root ball to dry out.
