Overwinter the moonshine in a cool location. Temperatures between 10°C and 15°C are ideal. In these still relatively mild temperature conditions, the plant even keeps its foliage. As long as the temperatures do not drop below 0°C, colder hibernation is also possible. In this case, the lunar winds shed their leaves completely.

In a bright place, the ornamental plant will sprout again in January.
