What are green beans?
The term "green beans" describes various types of garden beans that have one thing in common: their green color. When growing, however, this is less of a concern than her growth habit. Green beans are available as pole beans and bush beans.
Differences in cultivation for pole and bush beans
As the name suggests, runner beans grow on a pole, so they need a climbing aid. It takes a bit more work, but it looks particularly beautiful and the beans, which usually bloom white or pink, can be used to green bare walls or fences.
Bush beans, on the other hand, do not need climbing aids because they do not grow tall and tend to grow bushy. However, it can make sense to pile up the young plants to protect them from breaking off. You'll find more about it here.
