Although the coffee plant is easy to care for, it is unfortunately not hardy. In the right location and with the right care, however, it will get through the winter well. However, you should bring the plant to its winter quarters early.

What does a suitable winter quarters for the coffee plant look like?
Even in winter, the coffee plant needs warmth and light, so temperatures should be between 15 °C and 22 °C in the winter quarters and it should be as light as possible there. Limit watering and do not fertilize the plant until spring. The humidity should not be too low, occasional spraying with lime-free water can help here.
The most important winter tips:
- choose bright and sufficiently warm winter quarters
- water only a little
- do not fertilize until spring
- spray occasionally when humidity is low
tips
As soon as the temperatures drop below 15 °C at night in the fall, move your coffee plant to its winter quarters.
