Kalanchoen belong to the succulents, a family of plants that can store a lot of water in their fleshy leaves. The liquid requirements of the various species are rather low, which makes them very easy-care plants.

Watering: Moderately but regularly
The Kalanchoe is watered sparingly during the growing season whenever the substrate feels dry.
- Do not use too hard tap water or rainwater.
- Pour in sips until liquid comes out of the pot.
- Tip this away after a few minutes, because Kalachoen are very sensitive to waterlogging.
Flowering Kalanchoe like the Busy Lizzie should be kept evenly moist but not too wet. Therefore, water them a little more often than their flowerless relatives.
tips
If you forget to water, the Kalanchoe won't immediately take it amiss. It can hold itself well for some time on the moisture stored in the leaves, making it an ideal office plant.
