Mountain knapweeds are real summer flowers. They love the sun and warmth and reward the gardener with lots of pink and blue flowers. What you should consider when choosing the right location for the easy-care mountain knapweed.

The mountain knapweed likes it sunny

The sunnier the better

Mountain knapweeds develop their full splendor only in a very sunny spot in the garden. Even a semi-shady place is unfavorable. There are only a few flowers here.

Absolutely avoid waterlogging

The mountain knapweed does not tolerate waterlogging at all. Provide well-drained soil when planting, loosening it with sand and pebbles if necessary.

If the mountain knapweed is too damp, root rot occurs. The perennial then dies.

tips

Mountain knapweeds can also be grown in pots. Ensure good drainage and water the perennial regularly. Place the tub in a sunny spot on the patio or balcony.
