The Strelitzia loves the sun

When choosing a location, keep the following in mind:
- sunny location
- like to put it out on the balcony or terrace in summer
- high humidity
- blazing midday sun is tolerated
- Temperature between 10 and 25 °C
- do not expose to stagnant heat
- Ideally suited: bright bathroom and kitchen (there is high humidity)
The parrot flower makes few demands on the soil. It is best to plant it in a pot with a well-drained substrate. A loamy-gravelly base is well suited. The soil should be moderately nutrient-rich and loose.
