Location and Temperature: Bright and cool
If your Strelitzia was outside over the summer, the previous location will be changed in autumn. It goes in and in a place that is bright (evergreen plant) and has a temperature between 5 and 12 °C.
Winter care: watering and checking
Note the following in winter care:
- water sparingly (keep dry rather than moist)
- do not fertilize
- check for pest infestation
- repot and divide if necessary after winter

After hibernating, the Strelitzia should slowly get used to direct sunlight again, otherwise it can get sunburned. Put them in a little more shade for about 1 week!
