In April, the early bloomers of February and March only eke out a shadowy existence. Until the summer blossom spectacle begins, the balcony is not condemned to colorlessness. A large number of beautiful balcony plants build the floral bridge between spring and summer until the time window for summer planting opens in June. These plants bloom in balcony boxes and tubs from April.

tips
From mid-April, all balcony plants that have overwintered in the basement can go outside. Before the Mediterranean and exotic perennials take their place in the sun, they need to acclimate. A sudden change from inside the house to the sunny balcony place inevitably causes leaf damage from sunburn. Only a 14-day stay in the wind-protected semi-shade prevents this dilemma.
