Clamp-on insect screens are recommended for rented apartments and for anyone who wants a fairly simple installation. But keep in mind that a clamped roller blind is often not as stable as a screwed one.

Fiberglass is characterized by its pronounced fineness and tear resistance. It also withstands UV rays and is generally very weatherproof.

Sometimes the frame is made of PVC or another plastic. Plastic bezels don't necessarily have to disappoint. However, buyers often criticize that corresponding designs are less stable and can be easily bent. We therefore advise against buying insect screens with plastic frames. One of the most important criteria when buying an insect screen is the width of the mesh. The latter should be as close together as possible.
