Peas are able to climb. Depending on the variety, they climb up to 180 cm high. To protect them against wind throw, a climbing aid is indispensable. With simple means you can construct the practical support within a short time.

Who says that a trellis for peas can be limited to its practical function? You are welcome to enrich the visual appearance of the kitchen garden. With the natural building material wood, the project succeeds excellently.
- keep the clippings from the last pruning until the peas are planted
- Stick strong branches into the ground next to the seed furrows
- for higher-growing varieties, place two opposite rows of brushwood that lean against each other
