Plant cat grass for the balcony
You can get cat grass in a bowl in stores. For a more attractive look, it is advisable to move the plant.

Cat grass has a high water requirement. It also needs to be pruned regularly for three reasons:
- A pruning promotes new sprouting.
- Otherwise, the grass will begin to bloom and turn brown at the ends. In this state it is inedible.
- In the long run, the stalks become sharp-edged and lead to cuts in the mouth.
In winter you need to bring the grass indoors. Additional fertilizer is not required. Cat grass has the property of absorbing nutrients. Your cat could therefore ingest too many minerals. Incidentally, this also applies to substances in the air. Therefore, only place your cat grass on the balcony if you are not using it for smoking.
