Optimal location

Demands on the substrate

Even if waterlogging is not allowed to occur, zebra grass needs a lot of water. Moist soil is ideal, for example near a pond. The plant prefers loamy-sandy soil with a pH of 4.6-7.5. To ensure the necessary nutrient supply, it is best to enrich the soil with compost and clay. Before planting, it is also advisable to work in sand, grit (€46.95) and humus.
