Sansevieria cylindrica is a variety of the bow-tie plant that is not yet very common. It impresses with its long, cylindrical leaves. Unfortunately, the very easy-care succulent is poisonous and should therefore not be grown in households with children or animals.

Sansevieria cylindrica is unfortunately poisonous!
The leaves of Sansevieria cylindrica contain a sap that is poisonous. The toxins it contains belong to the saponins, which can cause nausea, intestinal problems or even cramps when consumed.
Small children and pets are particularly at risk. It is therefore better not to keep a Sansevieria cylindrica if there are children and animals in the family. You should also be careful when repotting the plant.
tips
The leaves of this species of scrunchie can grow up to a meter long. So you need a lot of space if you want to keep a Sansevieria cylindrica indoors. The otherwise insensitive houseplant does not tolerate cutting.
