In our latitudes, the violet tree is grown less as a houseplant, but primarily as a container plant for balconies and terraces. Overwintering it properly is not easy. This is how you overwinter the violet tree properly.

Overwinter the violet tree properly
The violet tree is not hardy and does not tolerate any freezing temperatures. You must therefore bring it into the house in good time in autumn and overwinter in a suitable place.
The location must be very bright. Temperatures must not fall below 10 degrees. It shouldn't be warmer than 15 degrees. Make sure there is sufficient humidity and ventilate the winter location more often.
During the winter time the violet tree is not fertilized. Water sparingly so the root ball doesn't dry out completely. Avoid waterlogging as the plant will then die.
