The coral shrub is a nightshade plant native to Brazil and Chile. The decorative shrub is not hardy and is therefore usually cultivated as a container plant or in the flower window all year round. How to overwinter a coral shrub.

Overwinter coral shrub properly
Since the coral shrub is not hardy and does not tolerate temperatures below eight degrees well, you have to overwinter it indoors. Outdoors, you can only grow it once a year, or you can dig it up in autumn in good time. It is even better to grow it in the bucket right away.
For the winter, place the coral shrub in a bright place where the temperature is between eight and twelve degrees. Water only moderately in winter, but make sure that the air humidity is sufficiently high.
tips
If you bring the coral shrub indoors in winter, make sure that small children and pets cannot get to the fruit. They contain alkaloids that can cause serious poisoning if consumed.
