The Clivia is a bit demanding, not only in terms of care. The location should be bright, but not exactly on a south-facing window. If the clivia gets too much sun, its leaves turn brown.

Around 15 °C to 20 °C is ideal, but clivia usually tolerate slightly higher room temperatures. A fresh air cure in summer is very good for her. In winter, on the other hand, they prefer cooler temperatures, around 12 °C. She resents a change of location. The clivia often does not bloom then.
The essentials in brief:
- bright and not too warm
- like to be outside in summer
- cool (10°C to 12°C) and bright in winter
- avoid any change of location during flowering
- Changes in temperature encourage flowering
tips
Frequent changes of location or a lack of hibernation often prevent the clivia from flowering, so do not move these plants unnecessarily.
