Money chestnuts need a lot of light to keep them from losing leaves. However, they do not tolerate direct sun very well. Therefore, place them in a window where the plant is not exposed to the direct midday sun. If necessary, shade them with a curtain at lunchtime.
The money chestnut does not tolerate cold well. It must not be cooler than 15 degrees and 10 degrees for a few days. If it gets warmer than 25 degrees at the location, make sure there is more humidity.
