Do not water the hemp palm too much or too little
The root ball of a hemp palm must never dry out completely. However, if you water too much, waterlogging will develop, which will damage the roots.
Always water only when the surface of the substrate has dried out several centimeters deep. Do the finger test!
Immediately pour off excess water from the coaster. Take care of the hemp palm in the bucket, leave out saucers or planters so that rainwater can drain off and not accumulate.
Use low lime water
If possible, water hemp palms with rainwater or soft tap water. The hemp palm does not get too much lime in the irrigation water.
