The easy-care rubber tree is quite warmth-loving. He feels particularly comfortable at temperatures between 20 °C and 25 °C. It does not tolerate drafts or waterlogging. To thrive, it should be watered little and fertilized only rarely.

Unfortunately, the rubber tree is not hardy. As a houseplant, it doesn't need it either. He likes to spend the summer outside. However, temperatures below 10 °C can damage it. So bring the rubber tree back into the house in good time in the fall.
The essentials in brief:
- ideal growth temperature: around 20 °C
- Hibernation possible at approx. 12 °C to 15 °C
- Summer freshness at at least 16 °C
- not hardy
- Temperatures below 10 °C can cause damage
tips
In winter, your rubber tree can be a little cooler, but not at temperatures below 12 °C.
