As a nectar-rich pasture for bees and butterflies, the cuckoo flower rounds off the planting plan in a natural garden. When the delicate pink to light violet flowers appear from April to June, the gardener knows that he has done everything right. The pivotal point for the picturesque sea of flowers is the right location.

Here the cuckoo flower pulls out all the floral stops
As a native natural perennial, the cuckoo flower has a pronounced tolerance towards the general conditions at the location. In order for the pretty flower to show itself from its best side, the space in the garden should be like this:
- Sunny to semi-shady
- Gladly warm and air-flushed
- Nutritious, loamy, freshly moist soil
- Ideally with a pH around 7
Embedded in a natural wet meadow, the cuckoo flower is just as distinctive as it is along a water world. The wild perennial is therefore an excellent choice for greening a stream or pond in a picturesque way. Furthermore, the swarmed butterfly pasture along embankments and deciduous trees is a flowery rendezvous.
