Planting date defines the beginning of the flowering period
With the choice of the planting time you influence the flowering induction. As a rule, 6 to 8 weeks pass before the first buds sprout after planting. For a knight star to bloom under the Christmas tree, plant the bulb in the ground between mid-October and early November. Thus, the most popular flowering period extends from December to February.
If, on the other hand, you only pot the flower bulbs in December or January, your knight star will transform into an exotic harbinger of spring for the windowsill from February/March.
