Your tulips will not bloom without a cold stimulus. Therefore, choose the late autumn months as the planting time. When the temperatures drop below 10 degrees Celsius from mid-October, plant the flower bulbs in the ground.

So that your tulips don't run out of floral breath prematurely, they should soak up as much solar energy as possible. If the soil conditions then meet expectations, Tulipa will bloom non-stop from April to May or longer. The location should meet these criteria:
- Sunny, warm and wind-protected location
- Loose, well-drained soil rich in nutrients
- A slightly acidic to neutral pH of 6 to 7
In the pot and flower box (€16.99) on the balcony, please pay special attention to protection from strong winds. If the flower stalks break off, the flower is over.
Plant correctly for a long flowering period - this is how it works
Tulips bloom again every spring for years if the bulbs are expertly planted in the ground in the fall. Dig planting holes at least twice as deep as the tulip bulbs are tall. Various experts even advocate a depth of 25 to 30 cm if severe frosts are to be expected at the location. Please align the tip upwards, fill in the soil and press it down with your hands. Finally, water generously and mulch with compost.
