All summer long she bloomed diligently on the balcony. Now it is slowly getting cooler and it won't be long before the first night frosts come. How can the daisy in the pot overwinter?

Cut back, house and overwinter
Since daisies in pots are not hardy, they should definitely be overwintered from the end of October. Before that, it is advisable to cut them back by a third.
Hibernation works as follows:
- Bring in a bright, frost-free location
- ideal hibernation temperature: between 5 and 15 °C
- do not let the soil dry out during the winter period
- check for pest infestation
- do not fertilize
- put outside again from the end of April
tips
Don't be surprised if the evergreen foliage of shrub daisies turns from green to yellow to brown and dries up during the winter. This is not a cause for concern, it is perfectly normal.
